The Vasley N. Jackson Scholarship, Inc. also known as the VNJ Scholarship, Inc. was founded in January 2024, to honor the legacy of Mr. Vasley Nathaniel Jackson who dedicated his life in serving others with special care, compassion and attention to mentoring youth and anyone with a passion to learn. As a man of many trades,
Mr. Jackson believed there were innumerable benefits in possessing a trade, especially when certified or licensed in a desired trade.
The purpose and mission of The VNJ Scholarship, Inc. is to provide support and assistance to students of Jamaican descent pursuing their education in any technical trade certification program or trade school, which will enable these students to obtain the technical knowledge and skills as it relates to a desired occupation.
To qualify for The VNJ Scholarship, applicants must meet the requirements, which is provided in the application packet that is obtainable by clicking on the "apply now" button below or on the home page link.
